Community of Practice

An initiative to foster collaboration and researcher-driven guidance in advancing Open Science and FAIR principles in SciLifeLab services and projects.
FAIR Metadata and Semantic Technologies

An initiative to promote metadata, semantic technologies and the FAIR principles, enhancing data interoperability to further support life sciences research.

CoARA

We are a proud member of CoARA, a global coalition dedicated to reforming how research, researchers, and institutions are assessed. CoARA promotes inclusive and effective practices, moving beyond publication-based metrics to recognise diverse research contributions.
Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH)

We are collaborating with GA4GH to advance responsible sharing of genomic and health data through harmonised standards and tools.
ADORE.software

SciLifeLab is a signatory of ADORE.software initiative. This declaration emphasises the importance of skilled individuals, supportive infrastructure, and effective funding policies for long-term software impact
GoFAIR Sweden

We are collaborating with GoFAIR Sweden to promote FAIR principles in data management and sharing. This initiative fosters collaboration among Swedish institutions and supports life sciences research through training, workshops, and the development of FAIR-aligned tools and practices.
The Open Science Monitoring Initiative (OSMI)

We are partnering with OSMI to support the adoption of open science monitoring practices. OSMI connects individuals and institutions working to implement and advanced open science monitoring.
European Open Science Cloud (EOSC)

We are collaborating with EOSC to help build a federated and open environment for sharing and reusing research data, tools, and services across Europe, accelerating scientific discovery through FAIR and interoperable infrastructures.
SciLifeLab & nf-core

SciLifeLab is a founding member of - a community effort to collect a curated set of analysis pipelines and modules built using Nextflow, aimed at enhancing reproducibility and collaboration.
